Jharkhand will regulate coaching centres under the Jharkhand Coaching Centres (Control and Regulation) Bill, 2025. The framework mandates portal-based registration and campus-wise licensing, caps operating hours, regulates advertising claims, and sets up district committees and a state authority. It also requires mental-health counsellors, student and tutor IDs, fee disclosure, refund policies, bank guarantees, and graded penalties.
