India’s leading engineering and research institutions have strengthened their presence in the QS World University Rankings 2027, with IIT Delhi emerging as the country’s top-ranked institute at 118th globally. IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, IISc Bangalore, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee and IIT Guwahati also secured notable positions, highlighting India’s growing reputation in higher education, research and graduate employability.
