India’s highest science honours, the Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar 2025, have been announced, recognizing outstanding contributions across four categories. Professor Jayant Vishnu Narlikar received the Vigyan Ratna posthumously, while nine scientists were awarded Vigyan Shri, thirteen young researchers received Vigyan Yuva awards, and CSIR’s Aroma Mission team won the Vigyan Team Award.
