During the lockdown, Shreya Singhal enrolled in the IIT Madras BS Degree in Data Science while pursuing another course, seeking skills her classroom lacked. From Teaching Assistant to researcher, her journey led to IISc and later Harvard. Speaking to BS Insider, she reflects on why the programme’s rigor set it apart from most online degrees.
